Congratulations Group 2 – you made it through the direct deposit enrollment period! During the July 2-16 enrollment drive period, 18,949 State employees enrolled in direct deposit. Departments shared numerous materials with State employees to help enrollment go smoothly and during that period almost 6,400 people visited the HawaiiPay website for information – over 2,000 just on July 2.
You will be receiving your first pay check through the new system on August 3. You will then be able to view pay statements online using your own personal computer or mobile device. In the future, using a State-networked computer you can always access the Employee Self-Service features of the Hawaii Information Portal (HIP) to edit, review, add, or delete direct deposit accounts, with changes taking effect in usually one to two pay periods. Review the For Employees page on the HawaiiPay website for more information as you transition to the new system.
