Noncandidate Committee Filing System Back Up

July 28, 2014

State of Hawaii – Campaign Spending Commission

Staff of the Campaign Spending Commission discovered this past weekend that the Noncandidate Committee Filing System (“NCFS”) was down. The NCFS was back up today (July 28, 2014) at 10:30 am. The downtime was due to circumstances not within the control of the Commission. The Commission sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience and would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during the downtime.

The Commission reminds all noncandidate committees that the PRELIMINARY PRIMARY REPORT is still due no later than 11:59 p.m. Hawaiian Standard Time on Wednesday, July 30, 2014.

The fine for not filing the PRELIMINARY PRIMARY REPORT by the due date, if assessed, shall not exceed $300 per day; provided that in aggregate, the fine shall not exceed twenty-five per cent of the total amount of contributions or expenditures, whichever is greater, for the period covered by the report; and the minimum fine, if assessed, shall be $300 (see HRS 11-340(c)).

Please disregard this message if you already filed this report. You can click here to check if your report has been filed and received by the Commission: https://nc.csc.hawaii.gov/NCFSPublic/ReportList.php
