News from OIP: OIP Launching New Website to Enhance Access and Accessibility

The Office of Information Practices (OIP) will launch its redesigned website on April 13, 2026.  On April 13, the site may be temporarily unavailable while the transition occurs.  If you need help with the Sunshine Law or UIPA during this transition, please email [email protected] or call (808) 586-1400.

The new website features a modern design and a more intuitive, user-friendly interface.  Improvements include better navigation for users with disabilities, enhanced support for mobile and touch devices, and more accessible interactive elements.

OIP’s published opinion letters will remain the same, but some forms and training materials have been reformatted to enhance compliance with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act rules on web content accessibility.

OIP’s dedicated team spent many hours on this project, and we hope it improves your use of our website.
