Financial Information Submitted by Captive Insurer
Access to financial information of a captive insurance company disclosed to the commissioner of insurance is given confidential treatment under the State Insurance Code, and may not be disclosed without the written consent of the captive insurer. Therefore, under the UIPA, access to this information is closed or restricted by law.
