Closed in Observance of Labor Day

Aloha! The Hawaiʻi State Archives will be closed this coming Monday, September 6, 2021 in observance of Labor Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

Our number one priority has always been the safety of our staff and the public, and so due to dramatic increase in the number of positive cases, we have rearranged the Public Research Room to provide greater distancing between research tables. Aloha! The Hawaiʻi State Archives will be closed this coming Friday, August 20, 2021 in observance of Statehood Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, August 23, 2021.

Aloha! The Hawaiʻi State Archives will be closed this coming Monday, July 5, 2021 in observance of Independence Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Aloha! The Hawaiʻi State Archives will be closed this coming Friday, June 11, 2021 in observance of King Kamehameha I Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 14, 2021.
