EFS Team Prepares for Vendor Demos Following Proposal Review

In collaboration with over 100 subject matter experts (SMEs) across the State of Hawaii, the Enterprise Financial System (EFS) Project team recently completed its review of the written responses of the five bidding vendors for the new EFS.
Feedback from these SMEs will guide vendor shortlisting and identify areas needing clarification to ensure solutions align with critical government operations and the State’s complex business requirements, developed over an 18-month period with broad input from multiple executive branch agencies.
Currently, SME input is being analyzed to finalize the vendor shortlist and demonstration scripts. The finalized list of vendors invited to present their solutions will be announced later this fall.
This feedback will also be used to develop a standardized demonstration script for all invited vendors to follow during the vendor demos, focusing on real-world workflows and addressing functionality gaps. This approach is planned to ensure demos are both relevant and consistent.
