State of Hawaii Enterprise Financial System

In early October, the EFS team issued a request for proposals (RFP), seeking qualified vendors to conduct a readiness assessment for the upcoming Enterprise Financial System (EFS) implementation. Recently, Gartner was selected as the vendor to conduct the assessment for the State of Hawaii.

The readiness assessment aims to evaluate the State’s organizational structure, infrastructure, and data environments to assess overall readiness and identify any gaps or risks. Through structured interviews, document reviews, and stakeholder feedback analysis, Gartner will deliver actionable recommendations and a strategic plan to help the State build the necessary capabilities to ensure a successful EFS implementation. Overall, this assessment marks a crucial step in the State’s commitment to modernization and enhancing its ability to better serve local people.
