EFS Team Spearheads Renovations to DAGS Conference Rooms in Kalanimoku Building

This fall, EFS team members assessed the Department of Accounting and General Services’ (DAGS) needs and oversaw the procurement and installation of new conferencing technology and furniture for the third-floor conference rooms in the Kalanimoku Building. In partnership with Bright Light Digital, upgrades to the DAGS Conference Rooms were completed in early October 2024.

The newly renovated conference rooms are fully equipped with the following:

  • Four 84-inch monitors with full audio and visual capabilities (i.e., microphones, webcams)
  • Wall-mounted speakers delivering high-quality sound for large meetings
  • Rolling chairs for easy maneuverability
  • Wheeled conference tables, ideal for creating flexible, collaborative workspaces

Upon completion of the renovations, select EFS team members and departmental staff were invited to preview the remodeled conference rooms and receive hands-on training with the new technology on Thursday, October 10, 2024. These much-needed upgrades will provide the EFS team and DAGS personnel with the tools and environment they need for effective collaboration and innovative problem-solving.
