“The EFS Project’s mission reflects why I chose a career in public service, as it gives me the opportunity to help uplift our local community. Hawai‘i is my home, and I’m proud to be part of a team that is continuing to move our state forward and strengthen how we serve others.”
With a positive attitude and a strong willingness to learn, Hao supports the Enterprise Financial System (EFS) Project as a Business Analyst in the Department of Accounting and General Services’ (DAGS) Business Transformation Office (BTO).
Before joining DAGS in 2023, Hao earned her Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. After graduation, she began working as a Program Coordinator at UH Mānoa’s College of Social Sciences, where she led outreach efforts, organized public events, and supported academic programs in the Public Administration department. She also served as a department-level subject matter expert (SME) for the college’s Kuali Financial System modernization initiative, offering insights to facilitate a smoother transition and improve internal processes.
Hao holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Peacebuilding from Brigham Young University–Hawaiʻi, with minors in Accounting, Human Resources, Operations and Supply Chain, Marketing, and Enterprise Business Systems. In addition to her higher education, she is also certified as an SAP Application Associate in Business Foundation and Integration.
