EFS Change Leaders Pave the Way to Modernization

More than 60 distinguished “EFS Change Leaders” from various State departments attended the first EFS Change Leaders Workshop on Friday, April 12, 2024. Recognized for their commendable support of the EFS Project, these individuals received specialized training in organizational change management to better support their teams throughout the EFS Project. 

The EFS Change Leaders Workshop featured an interactive presentation from keynote speaker, Shawn Murphy, Senior Director Analyst with Gartner Research, whose extensive experience in organizational change management provided invaluable guidance on implementing successful change initiatives and fostering a collaborative work environment at the State. Additional remarks were provided by the following:

  • Keith A. Regan, Comptroller, Department of Accounting and General Services (DAGS)
  • Christine Sakuda, Executive Director, Transform Hawaii Government
  • Douglas Murata, Organizational Change Lead, Office of Enterprise Technology Services (ETS)

Throughout the workshop, attendees engaged in activities and discussions regarding their roles in facilitating co-creative change, increasing employee engagement, reducing change fatigue, and ensuring long-term adoption.
