Share Your COVID-19 Stories

Posted on May 26, 2020 in HSA News

The Public Archives of Hawaiʻi needs your help! The COVID-19 pandemic has affected millions of people world-wide including our state, communities, neighbors, and our families. An event that will undoubtedly be remembered not only by this generation but by future generations of a time where our norm became forever changed.

Please share YOUR stories, along with donations of digital photos, videos and other memorabilia that document the impact of this pandemic on our daily lives, the telling of both your struggles and triumphs. Stories of heartaches and uncertainties, of front line heroes and people doing their part in flattening the curve. As a Community Archives, we want to help capture this moment in time, to help preserve and share the history we are living.

Photos and videos submissions should include sufficient details to help future researchers understand the context (when and where taken, what is in the photo and why is it significant). For artifact donations, please email us at [email protected].

Please stay safe Hawaiʻi!
